Milkevičius Kęstutis

Born in 1953.

Studied at the J. Gruodis Music School and the J. Naujalis Art School.

In 1977, he graduated with a degree in art education (painting) from the Vilnius Academy of Arts (then Vilnius Art Institute).

He studied under Associate Professor J. Švažas, Professor A. Gudaitis, and Professor V. Gečas.

Since 1977, he participated in exhibitions in Lithuania and abroad. The artist was a member of the Kaunas architects and artists’ club “Sphinx” and an active participant in the Plokščiai plein airs (open-air painting sessions).

His works have been acquired by the M. K. Čiurlionis National Museum of Art, the Jesuit Center in Wiesbaden, the Vilnius Academy of Arts, as well as by institutions and private collectors in Lithuania and abroad.

The artist passed away in 2009.
